Gym Programs
At The Physio Booth we understand that a gym program tailored to your specific wants and needs makes all the difference.
That's why we take the time to get to know you, and discuss exactly what you're looking for out of a gym program. Taking into account any previous or current injuries or health concerns, we will design you a program that is suited to your needs, to help you achieve your goals.
Who is this for?
You have joined a gym and don’t know how to get started
You have some experience training and would like a more formal program to follow
You are highly experienced in the gym but would like a more detailed program to help you achieve specific goals, need ideas on exercise variety, or how to split your training
You have a home gym or equipment at home but you need guidance on what to do and how to do it
You have experienced recurrent injury and need more guidance for strength training safely
What we offer
An in-depth discussion about your past and current training habits, injury history, and health and fitness goals
An assessment of your mobility and movement patterns
A strength program tailored to your specific requirements (i.e. days/week, minutes/session, equipment available, exercise preferences) that takes into account your experience, fitness and preferences
An individualised mobility program to help you with those “sticking points”
Recommendations and assistance with your weekly programming and load management
A focus on both injury prevention and performance
What to expect
Our initial programming appointments are 60 minutes to allow an in depth discussion on what you’re looking for. From your gym goals, right down to how much time you have to train and what exercises you do and don’t enjoy, we will discuss your training preferences, previous experience and injury history.
Your appointment will incorporate assessment of your mobility and movement patterns to determine exactly where you are at and assess how you move, so we can ensure our exercise selection is exactly what you need.
At the conclusion of your initial appointment we will make a plan on how and when you receive your gym program and how to get your training started!
